The Genesis Prize is traditionally awarded at a gala ceremony in Israel or in the 
home country of the honoree. In the presence of guests from around the world, the 
ceremony honors the Laureate, highlights his or her chosen philanthropic initiative, 
and celebrates important Jewish contributions to the Laureate’s professional field.
