and Economic Justice

As protests erupted across America in 2020, Steven urged others 
to join him in supporting those fighting for racial and economic 
justice. The $1 million award, with an additional $1 million donated 
by Steven and his wife Kate Capshaw, were granted to Avodah, 
Jews of Color Initiative, National Domestic Workers Alliance, 
One Fair Wage, Dayenu, Black Voters Matter, Collaborative for 
Jewish Organizing, Justice for Migrant Women, Native American 
Rights Fund, and the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism.
