Building Bridges with Latin America President Javier Milei, 2025 As an increasing number of countries around the globe – including many of Israel’s traditional allies – turn against the Jewish state, Argentine President Javier Milei deepened his country’s support of Israel. His vision, called the Isaac Accords and modeled on the Abraham Accords, aims to combat Israel’s isolation by establishing closer ties between Jerusalem and Latin American countries. In President Milei’s honor, The Genesis Prize Foundation launched – and provided $1 million in seed funding to – American Friends of Isaac Accords (AFOIA). AFOIA initially supported projects in Panama and Costa Rica through partner organizations, including StandWithUs, ILAN Innovation Network, Israel Allies Foundation, Fuente Latina, Yalla Israel, Passages Israel (formerly The Philos Project), and Rambam Health Care Campus. Programming is expected to expand to other countries in 2026 and beyond. Ambassador S. Fitzgerald Haney Fmr.
